Glasgow International 2018 Announces the Full Program

Glasgow International 2018

The new Glasgow International website features details of the hundreds of exhibitions and events that will make up this year’s programme, our biggest and most ambitious yet.

There’s so much to get excited about, and more still to look forward to as we add to the programme over the coming months.

Join us from 20 April to see commissions by Turner Prize winners Lubaina Himid and Mark Leckey, as well as Kapwani Kiwanga, Tai Shani, and Glasgow-based Graham Eatough and Stephen Sutcliffe, Michelle Hannah and Mick Peter (whose work involves young people from across the West of Scotland). Corin Sworn and many, many others. The festival will showcase the unique and extraordinary art scene in Glasgow, alongside exhibitions and performances by a selection of acclaimed artists working outside Scotland including Esther Ferrer, Urs Fischer, iQhiya Collective, Linder and Ulrike Ottinger.

Exhibitions will not only include a broad mix of different approaches to making art but will also bring to the fore questions and topics ranging from identity to race, politics, fatherhood, science fiction, queer feminist photography and our current “international” position.

The registration for arts professionals is now open. Please register by Monday 5 March.
