Larnaca Biennale was created by a group of artists and art lovers residing in the city of Larnaca, Cyprus in 2016.
Larnaca is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus and the capital of the eponymous district. It is the third-largest city in the country, after Nicosia and Limassol, with a history going back to 13th century BC.
Larnaca Biennale aims to bring together artists from around the world and showcase contemporary art. The first edition of the show will take place in the historical venues, including The Municipal Gallery, The Pierides Museum and The House of Arts and Literature. The exhibition will be accompanied by a programme of auxiliary events taking place between 17 October and 30 November 2018.
Larnaca Biennale is organized by M.E.M. The Arts Biennale at Larnaca and ARTION Cultural Association with the support of the Municipality of Larnaca and the Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts.Source:
