We are throwing a day long party to celebrate on Thursday 7 December

EVA International (previously known as e v+ a, Exhibition of Visual Art) was founded by Limerick-based artists and academics in January 1977.

As part of our day long birthday celebrations on Thursday 7 December, we’re looking back over the past 40 years decade by decade. Hear about art, jail, marriage proposal and other stories. Relive the beginning of EVA from the 70s to the 80s at Limerick City Gallery of Art from 12pm to 1pm. Tales from the 90s and noughties will be recalled from 2.30pm to 4pm at Limerick School of Art and Design. Both of these events are open to all, no booking required.
