Bristol Biennial: Crossing the Line

Deadline: July 14, 2014

In a new collaboration with International Performance Association (IPA) Bristol Biennial will present a Live Art Bootcamp as part of the opening weekend of Bristol Biennial 2014.

Live Art Bootcamp will be an intense two days of talks, workshops and platform for scratch performance. The weekend will provide opportunities for emerging artists to share ideas, meet producers and showcase new work to the public.

This live art & performance bootcamp will take place on 13-14 September at The Island, Bristol, UK.

Speakers and workshop leaders will include Bean & Benjamin Sebastian (Performance Space), Jürgen Fritz & Burçak Konukman (IPA), Ria Hartley (artist), Laura Murphy (artist), and representatives from Live Art Development Agency.

Bristol Biennial and IPA are looking for local, national and international emerging artists working across performance, live art and interdisciplinary practices. Artists will be carefully selected to create a diverse group of practitioners, who will benefit the most from participation.
